In chapter 14, we will see the true Lamb standing on Mount Zion. The beast here is a pale and fraudulent imitation. He may have two horns like a lamb. But he is not our Lamb. He is an imitation of the Lord, especially in His words and miracles. The words of the papacy give thanks and praise to saints and angels, not the Lamb of God. The triple tiara of the Popes is a claim to rule over heaven, earth, and hell. This is tantamount to claiming to be The Lamb. The pope stands before the world in the place of God, looking like a lamb.
The Church of Rome has gone so far as to change the Ten Commandments, eliminating “thou shalt not make any graven image.” To hide this fact, there is a need to maintain the count of ten; the tenth commandment was split into two separate commandments, because everybody knows that there are Ten Commandments, not nine.
